Your privacy is of great importance to Hensel Hosting B.V. We therefore comply with privacy legislation. This means that your data is safe with us and that we always use it properly. In this privacy statement, we explain everything we do with the information we collect about you.
If you have any questions, or would like to know exactly what data we hold about you, please contact Hensel Hosting B.V.
Processing orders
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to process it properly. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company.
For this purpose, we use your payment details, name and address details, gender, IP address, email address, phone number, and billing address. We need these because of the contract we enter into with you. We retain this information until your order is completed and for seven years thereafter (this is the statutory retention obligation).
Disclosure to third parties
We work with certain companies that may receive your aforementioned personal data from us.
To process orders, we work with multiple parties, such as our payment provider, domain name registrars like SIDN, and email providers for sending email communications. Some of these are based outside the EU.
Control Panel access
Our Control Panel gives you access to a management environment where you can configure, specify, and modify settings yourself. We keep track of what you have done and when, so that there is a record of it.
For this purpose, we use your name and address details, billing address, IP address, phone number, email address, and gender. We need these because of the contract we enter into with you. We retain this information until six months after the end of our service to you.
Contact form and newsletter
You can use the contact form to ask us questions or make requests.
For this purpose, we use your email address, phone number, name and address details, and gender. We need these because of the contract we enter into with you. We retain this information until we are sure you are satisfied with our response and for six months thereafter. This way, we can easily access the information for follow-up questions. It also allows us to train our customer service to improve further.
You can subscribe to our newsletter. In it, you will find news, tips, and information about our products and services. You can cancel this subscription at any time. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link.
Your email address is automatically added to the list of subscribers. This data is retained until three months after you cancel your subscription.
Disclosure to third parties
We work with certain companies that may receive your aforementioned personal data from us so that we can send newsletters and information, such as our helpdesk system and newsletter provider.
Some of these are based outside the EU.

For this purpose, we use your name and address details, phone number, email address, IP address, billing address, payment details, and gender. We need these because of the contract we enter into with you. We retain this information until six months after you close your account.
We store this information so that you do not have to re-enter it every time and so that we can contact you more easily if necessary. You can modify the information in your account at any time.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings, but some features in the order form and Control Panel will no longer work.
We do not use third-party cookies on our website, except for essential cookies from our payment provider in the ordering section and Control Panel.
