While you save time on the commute, hitting the maximum productivity, teamwork and social aspect can be affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s why we have put together this list of tools \u2013 to help you navigate the transition from office to home-office work much easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are some app suggestions for project management, file sharing, web meeting, team communication or even an app you\u2019ll enjoy while you\u2019re taking your in between breaks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.google.android.talk&amp;hl=en-GB\">Google Hangouts<\/a>&nbsp;\/&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.skype.com\/en\/\">Skype<\/a>&nbsp;\/&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.us\/\">Zoom.us<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 video calls (mostly free)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/slack.com\/\">Slack.com<\/a>&nbsp;(free voice and video calls, but screen sharing is paid)<\/li><li><a href=\"http:\/\/basecamp.com\/\">Basecamp.com<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 project management (paid)<\/li><li><a href=\"http:\/\/trello.com\/\">Trello.com<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 replace paper flowing from desk to desk with a digital flow (mostly free)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/site.timesheetr.com\/\">Timesheetr.com<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 track time while working (free for single user, disclaimer: made by us)<\/li><li><a href=\"http:\/\/gsuite.google.com\/\">G Suite&nbsp;<\/a>or&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.office.com\/\">Office 365<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 email + collaborate on Word and Excel files in real time (paid)<\/li><li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/\">Dropbox<\/a>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/owncloud.org\/\">OwnCloud<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 file sharing (mostly free)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spotify.com\/\">Spotify<\/a>&nbsp;\/&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/\">YouTube<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 music (free, but if you don\u2019t want ads: paid)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">General Tips:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Communicate more than you did in the office (over-communicate)<\/li><li>Communicate more clearly than you were used to<\/li><li>Use a noise cancellation headset, or make sure it\u2019s quiet, especially during calls<\/li><li>Make sure other people at your house, know that you are working and you\u2019re not available during working hours<\/li><li>Work at a desk and if possible in a separate room<\/li><li>Shower, get dressed in the mornings like usual. It seems like a perk to work in your PJ\u2019s, but it\u2019s not good for motivation in the long run<\/li><li>Join the team group chat<\/li><li>Call or video call more often.
